Kathmandu, Aug. 7: A total of Rs 9.1 million has been collected in ’Sunkoshi Flood Victims Relief Fund’ established to help the landslide victims of Jure and Mankha areas of Sindhplachowk district. Sindhupalchowk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Truck Container Entrepreneur Association and Nepal Trans Himalayan Border Commerce Association collected Rs 7.1 million while Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company provided Rs 2 million for relief distribution to the Jure landslide victims, said Chairman of Sindhupalchowk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kamal Kumar Shrestha. Preparations were on to collect Rs 10 million and hand over to the Sunkoshi victims, it is said.
 
 
Shrestha said that the victims would be supported based on the severity of case. Mankha and Tekanpur VDCs in the district have been mostly affected due to landslide occurred at Jure. Likewise, 33 dead bodies of the locals were recovered from the landslide while government presumed dead to all 123 missing persons in the landslide. Meanwhile, relief materials have been collected in Myagdi district to help the victims of Jure landslide. Myagdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry collected Rs 48000 on Wednesday in the district headquarters. Likewise, Nepal Students Union also collected Rs 18,000 for the same
