Kathmandu, Aug. 6: Senior leader of the CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has urged party chairman KP Oli to take all sides of the party together and run the party effectively.

At a programme organized to thank media for the dissemination of impartial news of the recent ninth National Congress of the party, senior leader Nepal on Wednesday suggested chairman Oli to include able and competent leaders and cadres together.

 

Saying that it was natural to have internal competition as a democratic exercise during the election, leader Nepal admitted that it was however a mistake to make two rival groups for the election.

According to him, it was also necessary for the party to forge unity among other political parties. Leader Nepal who is also the former prime minister said the responsibilities of the party at present were the promulgation of the new constitution by January 22 and holding the election of the local bodies.

He also said the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi put forth very clear views in the parliament on different 10 issues, including review of the 1950 treaty of peace and friendship between Nepal and India. RSS
