It is reported that the merrymaking program is being celebrated on Monday in Palpa to mark the victory of Nepali Army on the Americans. So the program, “Special Utsav” is being celebrated by the people in Palpa to mark the victory of the Nepalese. The war was waged on 1871 Posuh to 1872 Jestha and the Nepalese troops were led by Cornel Ujir Singh Thapa. The Nepalese Troops have got the victory over America. And so in the various places like Jeetgadhi in Butwal, the people have celebrated. In the historical records the people in Butwal had used domestic weapons and they were successful too.
