Aug. 20: A special alertness has been adopted at the border transit point in Parsa to prevent the entry of the Ebola virus into the country. In view of the possibility of the deadly Ebola virus entering the country from the tourists carrying the virus who enter the country through the Birgunj check post, the District Public Health Office, Parsa today set up a Health Desk in front of the Immigration Department office near the Inarwa Police Station.

 

The District Public Health Office stated that the health desk has been established for carrying out health check of foreign tourists and also Nepalis coming from abroad for possible Ebola virus infection. Five health workers have been assigned at the health desk, the District Public Health Office stated.
