The Indain Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finally came out of the temple after finishing an one hour  special worship in the Pashupati Nath Temple.  Today is Monday, and Monday is regarded as very special and holy day to worship lord Shiva. So, taking an advantage and opportunity Narendra Modi has been blessed with such a great opportunity. Today, Pashupati Temple has been decorated very beautifully. The temple looked like a bride, full of decoration . The temple looks as beautiful as it is. The PM  offered 2,500 kg of white Indian sandalwood to the Pashupatinath temple. Monday is considered as a very holy day to worship Lord Shiva ans Monday is always taken as the worshiping day of Lord Shiva. Offering Puja on Monday and Shrawan is considered as auspicious. Gaushala, Aug. 5: Armed Police Force has arrested a youth along with 20 kilogramms of silver from Mahitani in Mahottari district Monday night. The arrested is Nagendra Yadav, 20, of Musarniya-6 of Dhanusha district, said police. A team led by Police Inspector at the Armed Police Border Outpost, Matihani, Govinda KC, arrested KC along with the silver worth millions of rupees at Matihani-9 in course of checking.

KC was smuggling the silver to India from Janakpurdham using a bicycle. He said that preparation was underway to handover KC at Revenue Investigation office, Pathalaiya, for necessary action. Armed Police Force have intensified checking in the district after smuggling of gold and silver to India through different bordering check points of the district increased for the past few days.

Ratnanagar (Chitwan), Aug. 5: A woman was killed in a road accident at Birendranagar in the eastern Chitwan this morning. The deceased has been identified as Sharmila Shedai, 30, of Khairahani-2, said police. The accident took place when an ambulance (Na 2 Cha 155) heading towards Bhandara from Narayangadh hit Sharmila at 5:00 am, according to the District Police Office, Chaitwan. She died on the spot in the accident, it is learnt.


Police have arrested the ambulance driver and impounded the vehicle. The body has been brought to Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem. Police suspect that the accident might have taken place due to over speed

Birgunj (Parsa), Aug. 5: Two, out of the injured in a road accident at Chandrapur Municipality along the East-West highway Monday afternoon, died on the same night in course of medical treatment. The deceased have been identified as Gopanarayan Thapa, 34, of Mahottari and Ratna Kumari Jargha Magar, 27, of Sarlahi district. They died while undergoing treatment at National Medical College, Birgunj. The accident took place when a car (Ko 1 Cha 880) heading towards east from west hit a scooter (Na 27 Pa 1612) coming from opposite direction. Thapa was the scooter driver.


The bodies have now been kept at Birgunj-based Narayani Sun-Regional Hospital for the postmortem. Car driver Ranjan Shrestha, his wife Sumitra Shrestha and their one-month baby Aarambha Shrestha and Anil Dulal of Bhaktapur district and Shuva Laxmi Shrestha, 45, of Hariban, Sarlahi, were injured in the incident. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Birgunj-based National Medical College, according to Parsa Police.

Belauri (Kanchanpur), Aug. 5: The airport in Kanchanpur district has turned into a grazing land for lack of operational of air services for long. The airport located at Bhimdutta Municipality-17, Majhgaun, has become a pasture for lack of operational of air services. Locals around the airport have started grazing their cattle at the airport. Padam Bhatta of Majhgaun said that he has been grazing his cattle at the airport area for the past five year.

Locals of Kanchanpur district have been deprived of air services for the lack of operational of air services since 2046 BS. Although industrialists, businessmen and local leaders had taken initiatives in the bodies concerned to resume the air services closed for the past 25 years, but in vain. Former president of the Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Hemraj Pandey, complained that the KCCI had requested different bodies concerned of the state time and again to resume the air services, but no initiatives were taken from the bodies concerned for the same.


Locals, businessmen, industrialists and civil society have demanded resumption of air services.

Sarlahi, Aug. 1: Police have arrested a person along with drug from Dhungrekhola VDC in Sarlahi district Thursday night. The arrested is Babulal Mahato, 26, of Hajariya-5 in the district, according to police. A patrol team deployed from Police Post, Dharahara, nabbed Mahato along with 50 bottles of corex. Spokespersons at the District Police Office, Sarlahi, Prithvi Narayan Oli, said that Mahato was arrested while he was heading towards Nayaroad from Barahathawa from motorcycle (Na 3 Pa 5600) carrying the drug.

Each bottle contains 100 mililitres of corex. Mahato has been kept at Area Police Office, Haroban, and further investigation in the incident was underway, said police. Corex, the drug, which is easily available in Indian markets, is banned in Nepal.

Surkhet, Aug. 1: Passengers have been hit hard after the ferry service operated at Bheri River at Rakam in Surkhet district has been closed. Passengers have been facing problems after the ferry service was closed following the increase level of water at Bheri river.

The ferry links Salli Bazaar of Salyan and Jajarkot districts. Vehicles have been stranded on both sides of Bheri river after the closure of the ferry service. Jajrakot district is likely facing shortage of daily essentials due to this. Consumers have been compelled to buy goods on high price due to obstruction of traffic following the closure of ferry service.

A local Chandra Budhathoki, said that passengers always face such problem every year as such problem surfaced every year during rainy season. Although construction works of a bridge over Bheri river at Rakam were underway, but it have not been completed until 10 years.
