Rajesh Hamal Poem recital in Australia. Rajesh Hamal recently celebrated his 50th birthday and Silver Jubilee of his contribution to the Nepali film industry in Sydney, Australia. In the program Rajesh Hamal recited a poem written on his own life.The poem is a true representation of what Rajesh thinks himself as. He has summarized his life as an actor, his belief and his future direction. You can listen to the Nepali poem in the following video. Priyanka Karki fainted after winning Popular Actress Award at OFA 2071

Priyanka Karki fainted after winning Popular Actress Award at OFA 2071. Because of the heat at the venue of OFA 2071 ceremony, the actress who won the Popular Actress Award, Priyanka Karki, fainted and had to be carried away. Priyanka fainted while seating backstage.

When actor Jiwan Luitel saw Priyanka fainting, he helped to carry her out of the venue. In addition to feeling uneasy because of the heat, Priyanka had also had tummy ache.


Although she felt better after being brought out of the venue, Priyanka was taken to Norvic Hospital for diagnosis and treatment. The doctors at the hospital believe that the problem was cause because of weakness. Priyanka was given an Intravenous fluid to hydrate and recover.

In the film award, ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2′ became the movie to get the most award. Actress Ashishma Nakarmi also got the Popular New Actress award

Best Actress Rekha Thapa came with her boyfriend in Box Office Film Awards

Nepali actress Rekha Thapa was awarded the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘Kali’ in Box Office film Award ceremony held in Kathmandu. In addition to Best Actress award, she was also awarded the Viewer’s Choice award.

Rekha went to the award ceremony with her mother and ‘Himmatwali’ actor Sudarshan Gautam. Rekha has been promoting the affair gossip about herself and Sudarshan in an effort to promote the movie scheduled to release on Dashain this year.


Although the rumor of affair between Sudarshan and Rekha is going on, people who know Rekha personally don’t believe she longs for a person with disability. She is known to make use of a person and dump right after her purpose is fulfilled. Our source says that Sudarshan doesn’t have a future in film industry and Rekha will most likely dump him after the release of ‘Himmatwali’.

Box Office Film Award 2014 – Rekha, Prakriti and Karishma

Actress Rekha Thapa has won the Box Office Film Award in an event held in Kathmandu. She also bagged the Public Choice Award. - 
Other nominated in Best Actress award were Jharana Thapa, Neeta Dhungana, Priyanka Karki and Keki Adhikari.


In Best new Actress category Prakriti Shrestha of ‘Hostel‘ was awarded the award. Other nominations for the New actress category were.


Actress Karishma Manandhar was also awarded the best actress in supporting role award in the ceremony.

To receive the award, Rekha had gone to the award ceremony with her new boyfriend and actor of her upcoming movie ‘Himmatwali’. Rekha’s ex-husband Chhabi Raj Ojha was offered a honor for producing highly successful movies like ‘Aandaz’, ‘Rawan’, ‘Hamesha’ and ‘Loafer’.

Rekha, Priyanka, Keki, Neeta and Jharana nominated for Box Office Film Award

The nomination for upcoming National Box Office Film Award, 2014 is released. In this year’s nomination, majority of the nomination are for new actresses. The well established actresses Rekha Thapa and Jharana Thapa are also in the top 5 list of nomination.
In addition to being nominated in top 5 actress, Rekha was also nominated in the top 5 producer of the year for producing hit movie ‘Kali’.
