New district committees would be formed after dissolving the parallel structures in the districts. A meeting of the party’s ideological dispute resolution committee held at leader Baburam Bhattarai’s residence in Sanepa on Sunday took a decision to this effect concluding that the parallel district committees has created confusions on party leaders and cadres.

Party vice-chairman Posta Bahadur Bogati said that the decision was taken to pave a way for party unity adding that both the factions would immediately stop their unruly activities to resolve the ideological and organizational disputes.

"Party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai have agreed to resolve all sorts of disputes in the party. Agreement has been made to withdraw the action taken against some leaders from the standing committee meeting held on August 4," Bogati said.
