Hema Shrestha is a popular name in modeling. The debut movie of Hema Shrestha, ‘Sourya’ was released a while ago. Although it was released recently, the shooting of the movie was done five years ago. Hema has recently completed the shooting of her upcoming movie ‘Hasiya’. The movie also features hot item dance of the actress. Another actress, Priyanka Karki is also featured in the item song. -


Hema participated in Miss Nepal contest in 2005. Hema’s music video ‘Chiya Bari Ma…’ became very popular and established her in music video modeling. Although she had always wanted to act in movie, she couldn’t get the opportunity in a good movie. A martial arts player, Hema wanted a role of a modern girl that was bold and beautiful. Hema says, the wait is over and she has found the role she had always wanted to do.


The offer to do ‘Hasiya’ came when she was doing a music video ‘Sayau Juni …’ of singers Jagadesh Samal and Rajina Rimal. The director of the video, Milan Chams told Hema about his upcoming movie. The movie ‘Hasiya’ features the lead actress in action and glamor role.

Suvekshya Thapa’s desperate promotion of Miss Nepal, topless photo only a part

Actress Suvekshya Thapa has been trying desperately to create a controversy out of her upcoming movie ‘Miss Nepal’ and the recent topless photo is told to be only a part of it. In response to the vulgar nature of the photo, Suvekshya had told that the photo was taken according to the storyline of the movie. But, the photo style is far from being original. The following photo of Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra shows where the Miss Nepal producer got the idea.

The censor board of Nepal has always objected such type of posters. In case of ‘Chapali Height‘ the film makers were forced to paint the posters to make it look like clothes. With this fact, it is clear that Suvekshya is doing these propaganda only for the promotion of the movie.


‘Miss Nepal’ is Suvekshya’s home production and she is featured as one of the contest winners. It is to be noted that Suvekshya’s daughter is old enough to be eligible to participate in the contest – only open to unmarried girls.

Facebook promotion – At first, Suvekshya posted the poster of the movie in every Facebook profile or pages she could access. She did that more than once.
Miss Nepal controversy – Suvekshya had wanted beauty contest organizers to create an issue about he movie’s title. When Miss Nepal beauty contest organizer Hidden Treasure didn’t care, the controversy didn’t pick up as expected.
Topless photo in poster – Suvekshya has done some topless photo-session to design the poster of the movie.

A new documentary series reveals the amazing courage of Workitu and her family who tried everything to help her, despite prejudice in her community against people with disabilities. Doctors at CURE Hospital In Addis Ababa were amazed when they saw Workitu, who is thought to be the oldest person still to be living with a visible parasitic twin attached to their body.

Dr Eric Gokcen, the hospital's medical director, said: "It was something I had never seen before. A parasitic twin is actually rarer than conjoined twins. But as a physician, when I look at patients with a problem, my mind starts thinking about what I am going to do to help them." In an eight-hour surgery, the team carefully removed the outer body but left the extra internal organs because they were working fine. Workitu spent the next three months in hospital but healed perfectly and is now looking forward to her future. Workitu's story appears in Born With An Extra Body: Body Bizarre at 10pm on TLC UK on Monday November 25th.
